The inviting front deck is a delightful extension of the cabin’s character and beckons you to embrace the outdoors or simply enjoy quiet solitude while savoring a morning coffee. 

The wooded seclusion you may fall in love with doesn't mean you have to forgo convenience. The home lies about a mile from the Eagle Rock hiking trail, Hurricane Bay, the Sunnyside Marina, West Shore Market, and the Fire Sign Café. Bring your bikes in the summer and park the cars for good when you get here. Trailheads for the Stanford Rock trail and Ward Creek Park trail system are within walking distance.  The Homewood Mountain Ski Resort is three miles away and Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort is about 10 miles away. 

Recharging is the name of the game here at Emerald Pine Cabin and your electric vehicle won't be left out... an electric car charger at the home caters today's adventurers who may be seeking an escape to the woods, but do not want to forfeit modern convenances. •  This property does not have air conditioning, air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe. 
•  Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax.

IMPORTANT (Placer County Notices):
On March 11th 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
   • Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
   • Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 3
   • The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
   • No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $5,000 per violation. 
   • By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.
