Spend your winter like a local. A ski lease is a furnished home that's yours for the season, from December or January through April. Leave your skis by the door, skip the Sunday drive home, and chase every storm.

How ski leases work

1. Browse the available homes on this page. Use the filters for bedrooms, pets or area.
2. Fill out the Ski Lease Request Form with the homes you like and your dates, or call 530-582-6186.
3. Our leasing team follows up with pricing, lease terms and next steps.
4. Sign your lease, move in and ski. Our local team handles maintenance all season.

What's included

Every lease home comes fully furnished, with maintenance handled by our local team. Most also include contracted driveway plowing. On big storm days crews plow all day, so timing varies. Utilities, Wi-Fi and hot tub service aren't included.

Find a ski lease near your mountain

Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows: homes in Alpine Meadows and Tahoe City. Some are near resort shuttle stops, so you can skip paid weekend parking.

Northstar: homes in Kings Beach, Carnelian Bay and Truckee.

Sugar Bowl and Tahoe Donner: homes at Donner Lake and in Tahoe Donner, the closest base for the I-80 resorts.

Near the lake: Kings Beach, Carnelian Bay and Tahoe City put you close to the water and town, with an easy drive to Northstar or Palisades.

Ski lease FAQs

How long is a ski lease? Most leases start in December or January and run through April.

When should I book? As early as you can. Most homes are leased by fall, and the best locations go first.

Can I book a ski lease online? No. Fill out the Ski Lease Request Form or call 530-582-6186.

Can I bring my dog? Some homes are dog friendly. Use the Pet Friendly filter.

Is snow removal included? Yes, driveway plowing is included. Crews work through the day on big storm days, so we can't promise a time.

Who do I call if something breaks? Our local team handles maintenance and repairs for every lease home.

Are utilities included? No. Utilities and Wi-Fi aren't included in the lease.
