The Gem at Dollar Point is a beautifully renovated North Lake Tahoe vacation home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, ideal for families, ski trips, or friends getaways. The open living space features a striking rustic fireplace, comfortable seating, and access to a sunny deck overlooking the lawn. The fully updated kitchen is designed for gathering and entertaining, with granite countertops, a large center island, stainless steel appliances, a double oven, and a wine fridge. A spacious dining area offers multiple seating options, while a downstairs game room with ping pong and corn-hole adds extra fun. The home also includes a large garage with interior access and plenty of room for ski and outdoor gear storage.

Set on a generous lot in the desirable Dollar Point neighborhood, the property features a grassy yard, multiple sunny decks, a patio hot tub, and a gas grill for relaxed outdoor living. Just minutes from Tahoe City, this home is close to local favorite beaches like Skylandia Beach, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and year-round outdoor recreation. Skiing at Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood Mountain Resort is just a short drive away, making this an ideal base for experiencing the best of North Lake Tahoe.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: 
• This home is not pet friendly but the owner has animals, so guests with allergies should know this. 
• Important, this property does not have air conditioning.  Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe
• Check-out is at 10 am. 
• Like all of our homes, this property is VERY firmly non-smoking anywhere on the property lines.
*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events.  While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.  

IMPORTANT:
On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
   •Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
   •Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4, (3) in Driveway, (1) in Garage. *Owner's vehicle is parked on other side of the garage*

**IMPORTANT AMENITY UPDATE: AS OF A CHANGE MADE IN EARLY 2021, THE DOLLAR POINT ASSOCIATION WILL NO LONGER ALLOW SHORT-TERM RENTERS TO BE GIVEN ACCESS TO ANY HOMEOWNER'S AMENITIES. THIS INCLUDES THE PRIVATE BEACH, POOL, AND TENNIS COURTS. **

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.

Perfect Getaway in a Great Location
We loved the house and the location! We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, and we truly wished we could have stayed longer.

Great space for two families
We had two families of four stay at this property and it worked out very well. Great access to the bike trail and public beaches are not far. The place is in great shape and there is plenty of room for two + families.

Gem is the best house!
Casa Q (known as Gem) is the best house! Hot Tub had us straight chillin but sweatin... Great time! We will be back!

Beautiful Home
Your Home was beautiful, cozy and everything we could have dreamed of for our first Tahoe Stay. We felt like we were at a family home which means a lot to us traveling all the way from New Jersey. We loved the heated floors and the hot tub and were stoked on the snow. Tips & advice for future guests - if Granite lift is open - HIT IT!
