Chappell Cabin

There’s something special about waking up right on Donner Lake. Surrounded by towering pines with sweeping views across the water to the mountains beyond, this beautifully updated lakefront home is the kind of place that invites you to slow down, settle in, and make the most of every moment at the lake.

Inside, classic mountain character meets a fresh, modern feel. Soaring wood ceilings and dramatic exposed timber trusses frame the open-concept great room, where the kitchen, dining and living spaces flow together beneath walls of windows overlooking the lake. Gather around the stone fireplace after a day outdoors, share dinner with the water as your backdrop, or simply open the doors and let the deck become an extension of the living space.

Outside is where Donner Lake living really takes center stage. The spacious lakefront deck offers an incredible spot for morning coffee, afternoon lounging and meals in the fresh mountain air. From there, head down to the private dock and direct lake access for swimming, paddling or an afternoon spent soaking up the sunshine. With the lake quite literally in your backyard, this is a true four-season mountain escape—and an unforgettable place to experience Donner Lake.
