Don't miss Tahoe City's unique Oktoberfest, a festive celebration for all ages! Head to Gatekeeper's Museum/William B. Layton State Park on September 19th from 12 pm to 5 pm for the ultimate lakeside Oktoberfest experience. Enjoy Bavarian-themed food, craft beers from regional breweries, live music by Coburn Station, and the enchanting sounds of an accordion player, Christiane Georgi. Participate in fun games like Stein squat, Yodel Contest, Weiner toss, and even make your own Oktoberfest pretzel necklace. Explore the Vendor Village, dress up in your best German-themed costume for a chance to win prizes, and let your kids delight in pumpkin painting, balloon twisting, coloring, and a Story Trail. Don't miss this day of craft beer, music, food, games, and more. Get your tickets in advance for $25, or pay $30 on the day, which includes a commemorative beer glass and two drink tokens. Additionally, we're excited to introduce the Lederhosen 5K for a fun run alongside the picturesque Truckee River.
