Equally appealing about this unit is the beautiful outdoor space, including an undeveloped aspen grove across from the house and shared green space behind.

This was perfect for our family. We all had enough space, and the place was wonderful. As a host myself, I tend to look at properties a little differently than a regular traveler, and this place was very clean, had a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good linens, and nice furnishings. We spent Christmas here, and it was such a special, memorable experience. I can see why others have complained about the key pick-up/drop-off being inconvenient, but for us, it wasn't. We just found something to do in Truckee to make it worth it both times, and it didn’t feel out of the way. Oh, and the lake is literally at the end of the road—a 2-minute walk. We'd love to come back in the summer!
